A Personal Message from Father Tom…
Dear Friends,
The 5th Annual Cure for Sure dinner held at the Crest Hollow Country Club on June 10th, 2008 was a huge success thanks to so many efforts. I thank all those in the media field WLNY TV 10/55, Cablevision, Deanna Morton, Carol Silva and many others who saw that a press conference was arranged from 5:30 to 6:00pm. Thank you to all the radio stations that helped get the Public Service announcement out regarding the details of the dinner and to Anton publications for the printed advertising. I thank the Scientific Grant Committee headed by Dr. David Eidelberg the Foundation Board Members and Executive Officers. The Cure for Sure Dinner Auctioneer Hall of Fame New York Islander Clark Gillies, Adele Smithers for helping to present the honoree awards and to Crest Hollow for the wonderful reception enjoyed by all.
Thank you David Reichman for your generous 50,000 shares of Tree Top Industries stock to help fund the research for Parkinson’s disease.
Special thank you to the Michael Pascussi Family, the 2008 Cure for Sure Philanthropic honorees. Your generosity is incredible, your friendship priceless.
Domenica Diadema, the 2008 Cure for Sure Spirit Award Honoree. You are truly a gift from God and an inspiration to us all. My good friend Tom Fanning I thank you for being this year’s dinner Chairman and for all that you do and all that you are. Kathy Scarpinella our new foundation President, who worked tirelessly night and day to make this event a wonderful success. John Danzi our foundation Chairman, your vigorous pursuit of my mission and vision continue to give me strength and hope every day.
The Hartman Foundation office staff: Eileen Babich, Doris Viola and Melissa Scarpinella. I thank you for your incredible devotion to me and the cause to find the cure. Last but certainly not least our Volunteer Coordinator Arlene Aspromgos, our Auction Committee team and all the Hartman Foundation Volunteers, your valuable time is deeply appreciated and you are truly making a big difference in my life and so many others. The greatest gift one can give is their time and I sincerely thank you.
